Real Stories of Occupational Therapy Illustrate Attractiveness of OT

The author suffered from cerebral hemorrhage in 2006 and experienced outstanding occupational therapy in a hospital. The experience literally changed his life. In this book, he, as an OT fan, introduces real stories of occupational therapy in Japan in order to convey “How wonderful occupational therapy is”.

脳卒中を発症した著者は、療養中に作業療法に出合い、それがきっかけで“人生が変わった”。
本書では、作業療法の魅力を伝えるために自ら開設したデイサービスの利用者さんや地域の方とのかかわり等、15のストーリーを紹介する。それぞれの場面は、作業療法がどれだけ人の心を動かすかを描き出し、またリハの本質を考えるきっかけを提供する。
